Health Shots got in touch with counselling psychologist Anu Goel and psychiatrist Dr Rashi Agarwal to understand the various methods of manifestation and how to choose the right method for yourself.

These methods of manifestation are a step-wise procedure to understand how to get what you want. “Manifestation is a method of designing your dreams into reality. So, whatever we want to manifest, and we keep looking at it in a list form, and approving of it, and it tends to get strong. That is how our desires get manifested. There are various methods to do this and you need to choose what works for you,” says Goel.

6 methods of manifestation
1. The 369 method of manifestation
In this method, “Writing the desired manifestation, three times in the morning,
6 times in the afternoon and 9 times in evening. This ensures repetition as well as reassurance to self that this is going to happen. It is similar to the concept of child studying repeatedly for exams and learning the matter to write in the final test,” explains Dr Agarwal.

2. The 33×3 manifestation method
In this method, you need to pen down your desires 33 times for 3 consecutive days. This method works on the subconscious mind and is said to be the most powerful one. “The person is required to repeatedly create thoughts that match one’s personal desires frequency and through this repetition making them true. There’s this concept of frequencies and self desires and as and when they align the manifestations come true,” explains Dr Agarwal.
3. The 10 10 10 worksheet method of manifestation
Take a pen and paper, and note down 10 things that you want the most in your life. This can range between relationship goals or even materialist wants such as a new job, or a car. Then, make another list of 10 things that you are grateful for in your life. This would show you that you have many things going for you already. Make another list of 10 things that you love to do. This could be like walking your dog, sipping tea in the sun etc. This would help you understand how to make yourself feel good. This method can help you bring about a positive change in your life. This also helps you become aware of the way you are leading your life.
4. The 777 method of manifestation
This is a journalling technique that helps you to understand your desires. Get your affirmations ready and then write these down 7 times in the morning and 7 times in the night, for a period of 7 days. The important thing here is to not do this as a daily ritual, but really believe in every affirmation that you pen down. Focus your energies on whatever your are writing.

5. The 11 11 method of manifestation
The number 11 in numerology depicts a new start. There are various ways to practice this method of manifestation. One such way is through candle meditation. Light a candle and visualise your desires. You need to meditate for 11 minutes, gazing into the flame of the candle. You should also try to image your life once your desires are fulfilled. The next way to practice this method of manifestation is journalling. You should do this on a yellow paper, and write with a red pen. In this form of journalling, you script your reality as if your dreams have been fulfilled. Balancing your heart chakra with meditation is another way to practice this method of manifestation.
6. The 5×55 method of manifestation
In this method, you need to write down your affirmations 55 times for a period of 5 days. But remember, this needs to be done in one sitting.

It is imperative that you know what you want to achieve thoroughly. “Your goals cannot be vague, they need to be well defined,” says Goel.
4. Be grateful
Before embarking on any method of manifestation, it is very important to remember to be grateful for what you have. “Gratitute is a very important part of manifestation,” explains Goel.
