One of the most important tools in any kitchen is a great blender. Although we tend to associate blenders with smoothie-making, even if you aren’t the biggest fan of a berry and banana blended drink, a star blender can help pulverize, chop, and break down everything from veggies to spices and sauces. (FYI: You can also use it to aerate wine and soften tannins.) It’s a workhorse you can rely on in a pinch to make a quick meal or create an impressive menu for your next dinner party. All to say: You need a reliable blender. One of our favorites, the Vitamix Pro Series 750 Blender ($380) is on sale at QVC, and we know it’ll quickly become a must-have item in your home.

About the Vitamix Pro Series 750 Blender

Long gone are the days of clunky kitchen appliances that aren’t cute. The Vitamix comes in a handful of sleek colors—red, teal, green, gray, you name it—that will look good on your countertop, but the machine can separate for easy storage afterward. Although a blender feels straightforward (it blends, of course), the Vitamix offering has a 16-in-1 claim: It’s a food chopper, ice crusher, coffee grinder, food processor, and it can do everything else you can probably think of. The best part, however, is its self-cleaning mode that makes the worst part of cooking anything (ahem, the mess it leaves behind) a little bit easier to manage.

With the sale, the Pro Series 750 runs $380, which is still pricey for a kitchen appliance. However, because of its multiple use cases and user-friendly modes, the Vitamix can take the place of other machines you may also have on your wishlist. Since the sale runs from May 17 through May 25, there’s no need to rush—but, we’d recommend taking the plunge sooner than later if you’re in the market for a new blender. Soon enough, you’ll be making purees, smoothies, soups, and desserts on the daily.
